Sample workshop agenda

Workshops will be structured to meet the individual needs of the members. As a member you will have the opportunity to determine what is included on the agenda at each workshop.

The following is a proposed workshop agenda.

Part 1: Members business problem Four Stages methodology. Document capturing learning from each stage and proposed way forward
eg: Taxation department have requested RSS feeds, how to evaluate viability and implement
Part 2: Members exhibit Demonstration and discussion, plus practical demonstration of intranet usage in other organisations
eg: Staff Directory - What data is imported from other systems, what is updated by staff. How staff photos are maintained. What have been the pitfalls along the way.
Part 3: Open discussion lead by forum manager Summary of key points and issues for submission to Forum site. Discussion can continue online with all forum members.
eg: Blogs are shrinking within the public domain and growing within organisations. Are they effective, what are the benefits and pitfalls in organisations? What are the crucial factors to determine when to blog in an organisation?
Part 4: Networking lunch Meet with other members, discuss today's topics whilst they are fresh in your mind, suggest topics for the next meeting
